Wizards Unite Brilliant Event Guide: Burrow Besieged II 🚘

burrow besieged ii brilliant event

It’s been a busy month for all us members of the SOS Task Force, and it doesn’t look like it’s slowing down. The Calamity continues to target the Burrow and its inhabitants, and it’s up to us to return all those Foundables to their rightful place. And collect a reward or two along the way, of course.

This Burrow Besieged II Brilliant Event is also designed to play from home, so we can all stay safe while we’re helping save the wizarding world. Let’s take a look at the tasks we’ll have to complete and figure out how to best get through them.

The Burrow Besieged II Brilliant Event Tasks

Lasting an entire week (from April 21st to April 28th), this will be the second part of the Burrow Besieged Brilliant Event. This event will let us complete the second page of the event Registry, get some of the Fragments from Part I and also get our hands on some more of those precious restricted books that are holding our professional careers back.

So let’s get started!

The Burrow Besieged II Brilliant Event Tasks

Just like in all previous events, this one will be split into four parts. Every task will have its own reward, with a larger reward once each of the four parts are completed. This is where we will get our Restricted Section books, along with Brilliant Foundables, event XP and much more. Let’s take a closer look at those tasks.

Our take on the tasks

There really isn’t much to say this time around.

All of these tasks were designed to (mostly) complete from home. Of course, some of us live in areas where our map is completely empty and only the Tonic for Trace Detection brings magic to our phones. So in those cases the potion won’t be enough to complete the event. If you’re within range of an Inn or have Spell Energy, ingredients and Traces in your map you’re in luck. It really shouldn’t take much effort at all to complete this event.

To the rest of us, we might have to leave home in order to complete some of the tasks. It might be a good idea to plan your chores accordingly. For example, I tend to grab as much energy as possible when I go to the supermarket or when I take out the trash; same goes for ingredients.

But like we mentioned before, this event shouldn’t be too tricky.

We will need to brew a total of seven Potions, the second of which needs to be a Tonic for Trace Detection, so make sure you have enough ingredients to keep the cauldron going and remember not to collect those potions until you reach the correct task.

We will also need to collect ingredients or Portmanteaus in three of the four tasks, and use Tonic for Trace Detection twice, so plan accordingly and make sure you will have some of that pink potion ready when the time comes.

We’re also hoping there will be enough Brilliant Event Traces so that completing those tasks won’t take too long. The same applies to gnome-related Foundables, which will be featured this time around.

Tasks Rewards Summary

As for the reward, if we complete every task we will get:

  • 2550 XP
  • 205 Brilliant Family XP
  • 3 Silver Key
  • 1 Ministry ID Sticker
  • 1 Baruffio’s Brain Elixir
  • 2 Brilliant Foundables
  • 1 Strong Exstimulo Potion
  • 1 Potent Exstimulo Potion
  • 50 gold coins
  • 15 Restricted Section Books
  • 3 Red Spell Books
  • 2 Dark Detectors
  • 12 Snowdrop ingredient
  • 1 Re’em Blood ingredient
  • 1 Hermit Crab Shell ingredient
  • 2 Leaping Toadstool ingredients
  • 1 Powdered Dragon Claw ingredient
  • 1 Unicorn Hair ingredient

A few important details

Just like in previous two-part events, map Foundables from Part I will appear during Part II, which is great if you didn’t manage to return all the Fragments. Also, if you have any leftover Runestones from part I they will start yielding the new Foundable as soon as the event begins. Once the event is over, they will yield Fragments from Part I or II at random.

**Important**

If you don’t have access to a Fortress you can get the Brilliant Errol by completing three of the Bonus Tasks (return 30 Brilliant Foundables, return 5 high threat -or higher- Foundables, return 15 Gnome Confoundables)

The opposite applies to Portkeys. Any Portkey you still have from Part I will yield Part I fragments regardless of when you open it. So, unlike the Runestones, you shouldn’t save those Portmanteaus for Part II. They will only take up space and make it harder to complete the Part II Portkey Foundable.

**Important**

Portkeys for Burrow Besieged II Brilliant Event will be 1.5km instead of the usual 3km
